About
All things are created twice.
I'm John Pignetti, an entrepreneur based on Long Island, New York.
I believe all things are created twice — once in the mind, and once in reality. The first creation is the vision: seeing something clearly before it exists anywhere else. The second is the work: years of building, failing, adjusting and refusing to quit while people tell you it can't be done.
In 2021 I founded Gold Patrons. Out of it came DeedLock — the original AI Title Surveillance® — built for an industry that didn't exist yet. There was no category, no market map and no one to follow. We built it anyway, and the category followed.
Today Gold Patrons Data Technology is also home to DeedLock, Property Terminal, SnapQual, and Private Line, all built around one idea: protecting what people have worked for and giving our partner companies every possible advantage to thrive.
I also host Burn the Ships, a podcast about the moment people stop keeping a way back and fully commit.
What I believe
Create it twice
See it fully in your mind before it exists anywhere else — then build until reality catches up.
Never give up
"Crazy" and "never been done" are signals, not stop signs. Most breakthroughs sound impossible right up until they work.
Burn the ships
Commit completely. Once you've decided, remove the way back — that's when the real work, and the real results, begin.
Let's make the impossible possible.
Partnerships, speaking, press or a podcast conversation — if it's never been done before, I want to hear about it.
